Recruiting Events Ahead: Tucson Rodeo, GameOn Expo, and Pima County Fair

- 2/8/2026

Preparations are complete for the upcoming Tucson Rodeo, and there is still time for comrades to sign up and help make this event a success. Mandy Peery will be overseeing volunteer efforts for the final weekend—February 26, 27, and 28, as well as March 1. Additional volunteers are still needed, and all members planning to attend are encouraged to sign up in advance.

Looking ahead to March, excitement is building for GameOn Expo, scheduled for March 13–15. With more than 50,000 gamers expected to attend, the Department has secured a prime corner booth for this high-energy event. This represents a tremendous opportunity to highlight our Combat Tested program and strengthen membership outreach. Volunteer sign-ups for GameOn Expo will be released soon, and members are encouraged to bring their recruiting mindset along with their enthusiasm for gaming.

Finally, the Department is proud to confirm its return as a repeat vendor at the Pima County Fair, with an inline 10x10 booth already secured. Sign-up information will be shared once available, including a dedicated SignUpGenius link. Last year’s presence resulted in 87 new memberships, and the goal this year is to exceed 100.

These events are critical to strengthening our connection with the community and growing our organization. Your participation, time, and energy make a real difference—and together, we continue to move forward with purpose and pride.
